#CurrencyPairPrediction Feature Engineering (Input Preparation) Before you run the backtest, you must build the features your AI model will use, just as it would in live conditions. Examples: • Moving averages, RSI, MACD. • Economic indicators (CPI surprise, unemployment rate). • Lagged returns (yesterday’s return, etc.). • Time-of-day features (session changes). Important: You must only use past and present information — never future information when calculating features. Otherwise, you would be “cheating” (this is called lookahead bias).
